About The Position

The Driver position focuses on daily deliveries, organizes inbound and outbound loads, and helps manage routing and team workload to ensure efficient operations. They also support customer needs by providing service and transit information while acting as a liaison to resolve delivery or service issues. This person must be available to make deliveries when needed.

Requirements

Must possess a valid Class G driver’s license.
Provide a current driver abstract when applying.
Past delivery or customer service experience.
Experience driving a Box Truck or cube van.
Ability to work independently with indirect supervision.
Time management skills and be able to assess daily work load expectations.
Problem solving with a common-sense approach.
Be part of a team, we’re a small group so we need to work together.
Build relationships with our existing customer on established route and look after our customers.
Possess strong communication skills.
Physical ability to lift and carry 70lbs throughout the day’s deliveries as required.

Adheres to all Safety requirements.
Operates a company vehicle as per all municipal, provincial and federal regulations and follows company policies/safety motor vehicle policies.
Prepares and continuously documents all reporting requirements accurately and timely.
Completes any and all assigned work by Management.
Carries out good housekeeping.
Works towards safety and environmental key performance indicators.
Maintains professionalism.
Observes and follows health and safety regulations.
Enforces operating instructions and safety policies.
Assists management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures.
Maintains detailed records of safety incidents.
Assigns designated safety personnel.
Maintains warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
