About The Position

The Driver ensures that guest arrivals, departures, and other guest-contact experiences are handled efficiently and in a friendly manner. The role transports customers to and from the airport or other designated locations, supports valet parking operations, assists guests with luggage, and provides information about hotel services and nearby attractions. The Driver is expected to maintain a welcoming, courteous presence and help keep the hotel entrance accessible and traffic flowing smoothly.

Requirements

Ability to deal effectively with internal and external customers, including those requiring patience, tact, and diplomacy.
Ability to obtain information from luggage tags and claim checks and identify airline or customer pickup and drop-off points and street signs.
Ability to grasp, lift, carry, or otherwise move packages, boxes, and luggage, with sufficient manual dexterity in one hand to load and unload luggage, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to stand, walk, or sit and continuously perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb stairs, and walk distances throughout the property, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Excellent driving record, as verified by a Motor Vehicle Report.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to adapt communication style to different audiences.

Responsibilities

Follow traffic regulations when transporting customers to and from the airport terminal or other designated locations.
Park guest vehicles or retrieve valet-parked vehicles promptly and courteously, using claim tickets to ensure the correct vehicle is returned.
Move between the door post and other hotel areas in response to customer needs.
Greet guests promptly and sincerely, and open car doors for arriving and departing hotel customers.
Respond promptly to guest inquiries about hotel features, services, and assistance.
Provide clear directions to hotel facilities and nearby attractions.
Maintain driveway traffic flow and keep the main hotel entrance accessible, with adequate space for passenger and luggage loading and unloading.
Listen to and respond promptly to guest and associate inquiries and requests for assistance.
Lift and move luggage, packages, and boxes between vehicles, carts, conveyors, and other locations.
Clearly communicate the features and services of hotel facilities.
Comply with attendance rules and maintain regular availability for work.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
