About The Position

Energy Transfer is hiring crude oil drivers for its Crude Trucking organization, which operates in Oklahoma, New Mexico, Texas, and Louisiana. Drivers aggregate crude oil purchased from individual leases and transport it to pipeline injection points. The fleet uses day-cab tractors, and drivers are home at the end of each shift. Drivers typically work a rotational schedule of up to 12-hour shifts, with day or night start times depending on location. Compensation includes per-load mileage and per-barrel rates, hourly pay for other activities when not hauling oil, and night differential pay. Benefits and bonus programs are subject to applicable eligibility requirements.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• Class A CDL with tanker and Hazmat (X) endorsements and no restrictions.
• At least one year of verifiable oil-field truck-driving experience, or two years of over-the-road driving experience, or graduation from an accredited truck-driving school.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check required for transportation of hazardous materials under applicable local, state, and federal rules.
• Ability to pass Energy Transfer’s D.O.T. physical and drug screen, and obtain a D.O.T. medical card.

Nice To Haves

• Previous crude-oil gauging and tanker-hauling experience or bulk hazardous-material transport experience.
• Handheld device or computer experience.

Responsibilities

• Represent Energy Transfer professionally.
• Safely transport crude oil from lease locations to pipeline injection points.
• Accurately test crude oil quantity and quality.
• Maintain the tractor and trailer in accordance with all D.O.T. regulations.
• Provide a high level of service to customers.
• Follow all company safety rules, policies, and procedures.
