About The Position

Republic, a nationally recognized, third generation enterprise headquartered in the Quad Cities, has an immediate opening for a full-time delivery driver/warehouse employee at our Appleton, WI location. Republic is one of the largest independent distributors of electrical, heating, air conditioning, energy management, refrigeration and sign support products in the entire Midwest. Our Driver-Warehouse position supports warehouse activities as well as performing customer deliveries. This role requires flexibility as there may be days where you will mostly drive, but other times where you are needed in the warehouse. The company fosters a modern family atmosphere.

Requirements

Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
Good customer service skills.
Energetic.
Attention to detail.
Technology proficient - able to use Microsoft products and delivery scanners and tablets.
Physically able to squat, bend and lift over 25-50 lbs. frequently.
Pass a D.O.T. physical.
Able to pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

Run a delivery route for delivering customer orders, which may include pulling equipment and parts, loading and unloading orders onto the truck, building the delivery manifest, contacting customers, confirming order details, and providing proof of delivery.
Receive shipments, confirm quantities, and inspect shipments for damage.
Complete or assist with receiving paperwork and transfer paperwork as required.
Put away product and follow standard warehouse procedures such as First-In-First-out Inventory practices.
Perform occasional cycle counts and assist other departments with inventory questions.
Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed, as this is a new branch and requires a team effort.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
