About The Position

Johnstone Supply – The Heartland Group is hiring a Driver/Warehouse Team Member for its Bloomington, Minnesota branch. The employee supports efficient store operations by accurately and safely receiving, processing, and storing incoming products; preparing, packing, and scanning products for pickup and delivery; and delivering orders efficiently, safely, and on time. Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to maintain a current DOT Medical Card.
Non-CDL Class C license.
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management systems and office software such as email programs and internet browsers.
Basic math skills sufficient to manage inventory, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Ability to use computer systems and manual procedures to organize and identify products and communicate with coworkers.
Skill in operating delivery vehicles, forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers.
Strict attention to detail.
Problem-solving skills, including listening to, interpreting, and meeting others’ needs and diagnosing and rectifying problems.
Ability to manage time in a deadline-driven environment, multitask, and prioritize work.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to maintain a positive and friendly demeanor in a stressful, fast-paced environment and work efficiently with a sense of urgency.
Ability to demonstrate tact and diplomacy in dealing with others and maintain relationships.
Ability to keep the company’s best interest in mind and maintain a professional personal appearance.
Ability to lift, carry, and load up to 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the day; climb and balance on ladders and equipment; walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl; and reach, push, pull, and manipulate.
Ability to frequently lift more than 100 pounds with mechanical assistance or help from coworkers.

Nice To Haves

Six months of experience in warehouse operations in a wholesale environment.
Experience driving a forklift.
Experience with computer- or barcode-driven inventory management systems.
