Driver / Warehouse Associate
About The Position
The Driver / Warehouse Associate plays a key role in supporting daily warehouse and delivery operations by ensuring materials are handled safely, loaded accurately, and delivered to job sites in a timeless manner. This position is responsible for transporting cabinets and materials, supporting warehouse organization, and assisting with order fulfillment to meet project timelines. Success in this role means materials are delivered accurately and safely, warehouse operations remain organized and efficient, and customer and job site needs are supported through reliable service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in warehouse, delivery, or construction-related environments.
- Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment.
- Experience with delivery documentation, including packing slips or bills of lading.
- Experience using navigation tools or route planning software.
Responsibilities
- Move cabinets and materials within the warehouse using appropriate equipment, including dollies, while maintaining product integrity.
- Load cabinets and materials onto delivery trucks safely and efficiently.
- Unload cabinets and materials at job sites, including new construction homes, while ensuring proper placement and care of product.
- Drive company vehicles to deliver materials to job sites, vendors, and other locations as required.
- Review delivery loads and verify accuracy against packing slips, pull sheets, or order documentation.
- Pick up materials, trim, or accessories as needed to support job completion.
- Assist with staging materials for upcoming jobs and maintaining organized warehouse inventory.
- Support receiving processes, including checking in materials delivered by vendors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment to support efficient operations.
- Follow and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures both on the road and in the warehouse.
- Meet delivery schedules and timelines to support operational needs.
- Work effectively in a team environment to support daily operational goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
