About The Position

This position is responsible for conducting all aspects of securement training for driver applicants, identifying challenges, providing mentoring, and delivering continued education and training to all company drivers as required by Maverick. The work hours for this position are Sunday through Thursday from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Requirements

High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc.
0 to 6 months related experience and/or training
1 to 6 months related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid CDL

Responsibilities

Train applicants on Maverick’s load securement practices.
Present educational material in both classroom and hands-on environments.
Ensure applicant completes all academic criteria through Maverick's LMS and Luma software.
Work as a team to ensure consistency throughout the training program.
Determine which applicants possess the aptitude to safely meet Maverick standards.
Conduct mentoring and coaching sessions to facilitate student success.
Observe and report challenges.
Provide accurate documentation to support team decision making.
Lead, manage, and motivate groups of students.
Create and maintain a positive and productive educational environment.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending and participating in appropriate training.
Ensure company confidentiality.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
