About The Position

IRH is seeking experienced flatbed drivers to join our growing team. IRH specializes in rigging, machinery moving, millwright, heavy transportation, logistics, warehousing, trans-loading, packaging, and asset recovery services. IRH offers a competitive salary & outstanding benefit!

Summary:
The light haul drivers will be responsible for loading, securing, and transporting various equipment and machinery. You will be working closely with a team of experienced riggers to ensure a safe and proper move.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of flatbed driving experience required
• Rigging and load-securement experience required
• Class A CDL
• Must be 21 years old or older (for insurability purposes)
• 1+ years’ flatbed experience
• 3+ years' Class A CDL driving experience
• Must be able to lift 70+ lbs
• Self-motivated, capable of accomplishing task independently without direct supervision
• Must have clean a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
• Must be able to clear an initial drug screening as well as periodic random screenings as required by the DOT
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical abilities test
• Maintain an excellent safety record
• Willing to work overtime if needed

Responsibilities

• Company-driver position operating company-owned equipment
• Must be based in the Salt Lake City, Utah area
• Typically out on the road for approximately 4 weeks at a time
• Travel throughout all 48 contiguous states
• Frequently runs to Texas, Georgia, Ohio, Illinois, and Pennsylvania
• Hauls machinery, rail equipment, oversized loads, and specialty freight
• Operates flatbed and step-deck trailers
• Local account work may be assigned between OTR runs
• Conducts pre- and post-trip checks
