About The Position

The Tank Wagon driver plays a vital role in delivering essential products like fuel oil and kerosene to residential and commercial customers, while also building and maintaining customer relationships. This role offers a better work-life balance with local service areas within a 100-mile radius, eliminating the need for DOT hour logging and allowing drivers to sleep at home. Drivers are still subject to hour-of-service regulations. The position involves planning routes to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction, clear communication, attention to detail, and adherence to DOT safety regulations. Drivers are responsible for maintaining their vehicles and performing pre- and post-trip inspections.

Requirements

• Class B Commercial Driver’s License is a required endorsement.
• Comfortable communicating clearly.
• Focus on small details and directions.
• Keeping safety a focus under DOT Regulations.
• Maintain vehicle basic needs and perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
