About The Position
Join Carolina Ophthalmology, PA, and experience the rewarding opportunity to support our team in a meaningful way. As a Part-Time Medical Facility Driver/Support Services team member, you'll play an integral role in aiding the physicians, front office, clinical team and administrative staff by driving between our three main offices each day in a company vehicle, running office-related errands and performing a variety of other small tasks. This onsite position allows you to engage directly with our compassionate team and is a perfect fit for someone with several years of work experience looking for a part-time role to fill their time.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory
- Capable of standing and walking for moderate periods
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 45 pounds
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be a licensed driver in the state of North Carolina with a clean driving record
- Must be able to understand and respond to either written or verbal instructions
- Must be able to cooperate and interact with fellow employees and management in a congenial, positive manner
- High school diploma is a minimum requirement
- Several years of prior successful work experience performing a variety of tasks in addition to interacting with other persons in a positive manner
Nice To Haves
- Strong computer literacy is preferred
- Additional formal education is a plus
Responsibilities
- Maintaining company vehicles (inspections, maintenance schedules, etc.)
- Performing very light building maintenance
- Conducting administrative and courier duties
- Managing vehicle maintenance
- Delivering materials between offices as needed
- Assisting with the setup of a handful of annual internal events
