About The Position

Imperial Dade is seeking a Driver (Straight Truck)/Class B Delivery Driver for their North Salt Lake, UT location. This role is part of a growing transportation group and offers an opportunity for career advancement. The driver will be responsible for a daily route, delivering products to customers by unloading via hand, pallet jack, and dolly to the designated location. The core functions of this position include product delivery and providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

• A valid commercial driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam
• A good driving record
• 1 year of recent CDL B experience
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Lift gate experience
• Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
• Strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 24’ box truck of 26,000 pounds of gross vehicle weight (GVW)
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document the activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing, positive attitude
