Driver Shipper Dispatcher
About The Position
Sofina Foods is one of Canada's leading manufacturers of primary and further processed protein products for retail and foodservice customers as well as international markets. The Driver/Shipper/Dispatcher (DSD) is responsible for receiving, loading, unloading, and shipping products and materials in and from coolers and shipping dock using power equipment. This role also involves providing coverage for the freezer position when the person is away, picking orders according to customer order forms, making deliveries, acting as a dispatcher, and moving trucks in the yard. The position provides general working direction to shipping employees, under the direction of the supervisor.
Requirements
- Class 1 driver’s license.
- Minimum of one (1) year shipping experience.
- Certified power jack, forklift and stacker operator.
- Can read, write and communicate in English.
- Can provide documentation to prove eligibility to work in Canada.
Responsibilities
