About The Position
The Shipper pulls, prepares, and ships parts and assemblies according to production schedules. The Clerk also maintains detailed documentation of product receipts and shipments.
Requirements
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year experience in Shipping and Receiving
- Eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government (ITAR Requirements)
Responsibilities
- Part Preparation: Wrapping, packaging, and boxing fragile or custom-machined parts following strict quality procedures to prevent damage during transit.
- Documentation: Creating and verifying packing slips, and address labels so shipments match customer orders.
- Inventory Management: Operating Epicor software to update stock levels, track shipped items, and process incoming deliveries or returns.
- Shipping: Working with LTL carriers, freight services, and couriers (like FedEx, UPS, or DHL) to schedule pickups and arrange transit.
- Stage Shipments: Early shipments that are packaged and placed on a waiting shelf until further notice to ship.
