About The Position

Maritime Delivery Services (MDS) is an intermodal trucking company with 4 offices in the US. MDS has been in business since 2007 providing safe, reliable service with dedicated staff and business oriented independent contractors. The Driver Recruiter will coordinate all aspects of the owner-operator recruiting process and attain measurable results while complying with company directives, local, state, national laws and regulations.

Requirements

3+ years’ experience in driver recruiting
Transportation/trucking background
Working knowledge of DOT driver qualification regulations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting and retaining owner-operators in a multi-site organization.
Partner with Management to forecast and develop plans for key staffing/retention initiatives.
Manage full cycle recruiting process.
Create and implement Employment Marketing Strategies to attract qualified owner-operators.
Track and report key metrics designed to measure and predict recruiting initiatives.
