Midwest Refrigerated Services is a full-service 3PL company providing refrigerated logistics services for the food industry. Based in Milwaukee, WI, we operate the largest fresh 48 state LTL consolidation pool with more than 100+ trucks, and offer multiple sites with cooler, and air-conditioned storage, distribution, and cross-docking services. We operate refrigerated and non-refrigerated warehouses for storage needs but also Value-Added Services such as specialty packing, kitting, and fulfillment needs. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Driver Recruiter to join our team. The Driver Recruiter plays a crucial role in sourcing, evaluating, and onboarding candidates while supporting our transportation recruitment strategies across various functions. Requirements

Excellent attention to detail, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently while meeting recruitment goals.
Proven experience in recruiting, within the transportation or logistics industry.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, preferred.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the Operations, Safety and HR teams to understand staffing needs.
Create and utilize various recruitment strategies, including job boards and social media.
Review applications, conduct phone screenings, and schedule interviews to evaluate candidates' qualifications.
Maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process. Provide feedback to candidate, post-interview.
Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all paperwork and training is completed efficiently.
Stay informed about DOT regulations and industry standards. Ensure all hiring practices comply with federal and state laws.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor practices and best practices.
Maintain accurate records of recruiting metrics, such as time-to-fill and candidate sources.
Be a subject matter expert for candidates on all things related to driving positions at Midwest Refrigerated Services.
