About The Position

The Driver/Porter supports the service department by greeting customers, moving vehicles, maintaining an orderly department, and taking customer vehicles through the car wash and vacuum. The position is an opportunity to begin a career in retail automotive and learn about the parts and service side of the business. Employment offers are contingent on successfully passing a background screening, including a criminal background check, motor vehicle records review, and Social Security number verification.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clean and valid driver’s license.
• Good communication skills.
• Prompt and courteous demeanor.
• Enthusiastic personality.
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet customers on the service drive.
• Move vehicles off the service drive.
• Keep the department clean and organized.
• Take cars through the car wash and vacuum them.
• Work with the Service Manager to keep the department ready for customers.
