About The Position

Fifth Gear Automotive is a nationally ranked, family-owned independent auto repair company with 11 locations across the DFW area. The Driver/Porter supports the daily operations of the Castle Hills/Carrollton shop by safely transporting customer vehicles, maintaining facility organization, and helping provide a smooth, professional service experience. The role includes vehicle pick-up and delivery, basic visual inspections, and operational support for service advisors and technicians. The position offers a climate-controlled shop, a flexible Monday–Friday schedule, no nights or weekends, consistent year-round work, and opportunities for growth. Compensation is $15.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience. Requirements

Valid Texas driver’s license.
Clean driving record for the past two years.
Reliable, punctual, and people-focused.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of manual driving experience.

Responsibilities

Safely transport customer vehicles to and from designated locations.
Assist with vehicle pick-up and delivery while providing excellent customer service.
Keep the shop, parking areas, and vehicle storage areas clean and organized.
Support service advisors and technicians with daily operational tasks.
Perform basic vehicle inspections and note visible issues.
Handle all vehicles with care and professionalism.
