About The Position

This role involves executing daily deliveries using a 26-foot Non CDL Box Truck to customers. The driver will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, providing excellent customer service, preparing products for shipping, and ensuring safe and timely deliveries. Compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and conducting vehicle inspections are also key aspects of the job. This position offers home daily routes with no overnight travel.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent education
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Must have a current valid DOT medical card
• 21+ years of age
• 1+ years of driving experience operating a 26-foot box truck
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently or with a team
• Prior warehouse experience
• Good customer service skills
• Must possess attention to detail
• Effective communication, include speaking, writing, active listening skills with the ability to communicate
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Executes daily deliveries using a 26 foot Non CDL Box Truck to customers
• Loads and unloads trucks by hand or pallet jack; limited use of lift gates
• Provides excellent customer service
• Prepares product for shipping to include boxing and shrink wrapping
• Ensures deliveries are made in a safe and timely manner to meet customer needs
• Complies with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
• Conducts pre and post trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues
• Home daily – no overnight routes
• Additional duties as assigned
