You’ll oversee the assignment of routes, support the supervision of drivers and technicians, and maintain operational efficiency while upholding safety and quality standards. Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years in Operations, Logistics Management, or Transportation.
  • Strong understanding of the home appliance industry, including installation and servicing.
  • Ability to work a flexible 6-day schedule as needed.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proven success in developing and managing a team, fostering a service-oriented culture.
  • Expertise in DOT regulations and commercial vehicle compliance.
  • Experience overseeing drivers and managing commercial vehicle operations.
  • Home Appliance Installation or similar [Installation Savy]
  • Fleet Management/ Routing, Truck Maintenance
  • Ability to Drive 26 FT Box Tuck/ Training
  • Developing, and Coaching
  • Computer Savvy/ Microsoft Suite, Email Communication

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred fluency in Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all daily routes are assigned efficiently and verify route documentation before dispatch.
  • Implement tasks, prepare reports, and assist with daily operations as needed, following direction from the General Manager.
  • Monitor and coach technicians to achieve peak performance and meet service goals.
  • Communicate recruitment needs, participate in the hiring process, and foster a culture that prioritizes excellent customer service and respect.
  • Assist with supervising technicians, observing their performance, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Promote dock safety, ensure technicians adhere to safety standards, and maintain compliance with all regulations, including DOT and OSHA.
  • Assist in managing customer escalations to resolve issues efficiently and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee vehicle fuel needs and preventative maintenance; regularly inspect vehicles for proper care and usage.
  • Supervise the loading of trucks to prevent damage, ensure proper freight pulls, and maintain safe working practices.
  • Track technician goals and performance metrics, document service failures, and develop improvement plans.
  • Ensure all technicians adhere to uniform standards and company policies.
