Requirements

• High school education or equivalent
• A valid CDL Class B license with HazMat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements
• Experienced with operation of fork trucks, and loading and unloading trucks.
• At least 2 years' experience driving a CDL vehicle
• Ability to meet all company standards and DOT requirements for vehicles and drivers
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to read a map and accurately plan a route
• Ability to follow and carry out instructions with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills with ability to read English and write legibly
• Basic math skills required
• Safety conscious

Nice To Haves

• Straight truck, box trailer and tanker experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading freight
• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for shipment
• Performing final inspection/dock check on all outbound customer orders
• Receiving and properly storing finished product
• Delivering drums, totes and small packed goods like 5 gallon pails and grease cases
• If customer does not have a dock, driver must be able to operate manual pallet jack to offload pallets from the rear of truck (when applicable).
• Complying with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Reporting defects, accidents or violations immediately
• Maintaining a clean work environment and performing general warehouse upkeep/ maintenance.
