Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent or experience in lieu of education.
  • 2 years’ experience operating vehicles that require a CDL.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Must possess a valid Class A or B CDL with Tanker, Hazardous Materials and Air Brake endorsements or can obtain the endorsements.
  • Must meet the current driver qualifications as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
  • Must possess a current Medical Certificate.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective customer services skills.
  • Ability to evaluate process effectiveness and develop change or alternatives.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
  • Ability to mentor, coach, train and supervise employees.
  • Ability to function effectively with, or as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of and ability to identify safety hazards and necessary safety precautions to establish a safe work environment.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to safely operate and/or maintain machinery, tools and equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with propane, natural gas, pipefitting, plumbing, crane, or boom truck is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and receive fuel and/or propane to and from company tanks, customer tanks, and airplanes as required.
  • Perform various customer service activities which include assisting with fuel attendant duties.
  • Assist with gasoline pump meter readings, sales slips and credit card charges.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and requisition parts and repairs.
  • Perform or assist with weekly inspections of facilities, maintenance crews with maintenance and upgrades.
  • Act as a first responder to any spill incidents and perform other duties as assigned.
