As a Driver Leader, you will be responsible for productivity, communication, and performance, ensuring every mile matters. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong multitasking skills in a fast-moving, tech-driven environment.
- Excellent communication and coaching abilities.
- Organized, analytical, and ready to lead with energy and confidence.
- Proficiency with computers and navigating between systems.
- A “Whatever It Takes” mindset.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
Responsibilities
- Be the go-to leader for your fleet of professional drivers.
- Communicate with drivers via phone, email, and message, providing fast, clear answers.
- Plan miles, send preplans, and secure load commitments on time.
- Track every delivery from dispatch to drop-off to ensure on-time performance.
- Manage driver availability, preferences, and schedules.
- Coach and support drivers to perform at their best.
- Collaborate with departments like Safety and Payroll.
- Build positive, lasting relationships with drivers and team members.
- Travel occasionally to terminals and represent leadership.
- Bring a solution-first mindset to challenges.
