Requirements

Class C (or higher) CDL with a passenger endorsement.
At least one year of related experience.
You’re a road rules expert who knows regulations inside and out.
You communicate courteously and professionally, making sure everyone is heard.
You handle two-way radios and tablets with ease.
You operate 9-23 passenger buses safely, including using wheelchair lifts.
You’ve got strong organizational and time-management skills that keep things running smoothly.
You’re a team player who can also take charge

Responsibilities

Make quick, informed decisions considering traffic, road conditions, and bus operations.
Report mechanical issues, ensure authorized repairs, and submit required reports.
Conduct pre and post-trip bus inspections during scheduled hours.
Report accidents and passenger injuries to the Transportation Supervisor per policies and procedures.
Maintain a valid CDL, current DOT physical card, and safe driving record; report license changes immediately.
Log employment activities per Federal Motor Carrier regulations and report to the Supervisor.
Notify the Supervisor of medications or medical conditions before safety-sensitive duties.
Ensure staff compliance with policies, coordinate activities, provide training, and conduct performance evaluations.
