About The Position

Under the general direction of the ADRC Program Manager, this position is responsible for the pickup and delivery of bulk food and delivering home-delivered meals. The hours are 3.75 hours per day, Monday through Friday, except holidays.

Requirements

• Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License.
• Good physical condition: Ability to lift and carry 50-100 pounds.
• Good knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations relating to the serving of food.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Dependability, tact and courtesy.
• Ability to work within time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Deliver home delivered meals.
• Follow proper sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Collect meal donations from home delivered meal participants and turn donations into the site manager.
• Record the number of meals delivered to each participant on Route sheet.
• Report on any illness, accidents, or unsafe conditions observed at homes of home delivered participants.
• Responsible for putting gas in Senior Services vehicle at Rusk County Highway garage and scheduling routine maintenance.
• Report any problems with vehicle or need for repairs to ADRC Program Manager.
• Attend training sessions and meetings as scheduled by the ADRC Program Manager.
