About The Position

Rides on truck and assists driver in providing prompt, courteous delivery of cabinets to customer homes.

Requirements

• Lift, carry and push/pull at least 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday.
• Climb into and out of truck repeatedly throughout the workday.
• Customer Service – Acts in a professional, courteous and cooperative manner toward customers and coworkers. Within reason, does what it takes to meet and exceed expectations of customers.
• Dependability – Follows through and does what he/she says he/she will do. Shows up for work on time and adheres to the established work schedule.
• Endurance – Sticks with the task until it is completed in the most productive and safe manner. Works through challenges.
• Ethics – Does the right thing. Adheres to the laws as well as Benedettini Cabinets policies and rules. Promptly reports concerns or potential violations in accordance with reporting procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D certification
• One year of working in extreme weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Intercepts all phone/radio calls for the driver while the driver is driving.
• Climbs onto and off of the truck to load and unload cabinets.
• Lifts and carries cabinets to and from the truck to deliver to customer homes.
• Pushes/pulls cabinets with or without a dolly to and from the truck.
• Assists driver in safely backing up the truck by directing the driver from the ground.
• Assists in cleaning the cab of the truck and inside of the box truck daily.
• Courteously interacts with customers, dispatchers and supervisors.
• Assists in cleaning up the area around the delivery of cabinets, when necessary.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
