Requirements

  • Forklift Certification (Or the willingness to become certified within 30 days - we provide training)
  • Able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs regularly throughout the day.
  • This role involves a variety of physically demanding tasks, including climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
  • Willingness to learn and identify various grades of lumber and building materials.
  • Ability to work in inclement weather conditions.
  • Willing to adapt to changing demands, self-motivated, and a strong team player.
  • Adjust your approach to meet evolving demands on the fly.
  • Respectful, friendly, and approachable, representing the company positively to customers.
  • Punctual and committed to completing tasks by deadlines.
  • Willingness to contribute, be flexible, and go the extra mile to support the team.
  • Take the initiative to guide others on work processes and familiar with hand/power tools.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will be verified through the federal E-Verify system.

Responsibilities

  • Build trim packs, and skillfully pull materials onto a cart to fulfill orders.
  • Place completed packs in designated spots for easy access.
  • Stock up for the next day, tidy up the warehouse, and handle any necessary housekeeping tasks.
  • Check the delivery route, ensuring everything is in order.
  • Assist drivers in navigating tricky maneuvers, backing up when needed, and ensuring safety at all times.
  • Unload materials efficiently and neatly at each stop.
  • Assist in finding job sites in unfamiliar areas.
  • Maintain a vigilant eye for any potential safety concerns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
