About The Position

Driver needed for school food service program in the Belleville, NJ area. This is a 10-month seasonal position from September to June with the possibility of summer work. The role involves delivering food and supplies throughout the school district and assisting with food service tasks as needed. The ideal applicant is dependable, flexible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Must be able to obtain proper documentation to work in schools and submit to a tuberculosis test.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry food and supply items up to 50lbs.
• Willingness to assist with general food service duties.
• Reliable, Punctual, and able to work independently.
• Must be able to obtain proper documentation to work in schools.
• Must submit to a tuberculosis test.

Nice To Haves

• Previous food service or delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food supplies and satellite lunches to designated school sites daily.
• Transport catering orders as scheduled.
• Putting away food and supply orders, cleaning, breaking down boxes, etc.
• Assisting with food service tasks as needed.
