About The Position
Cook needed for school food service in the Pompton Lakes/ Bloomingdale, NJ area. This is a Monday through Friday position with day shift hours, approximately 5 to 7 hours daily. Enjoy no weekends or holidays, and have summers off!
Requirements
- Cooking experience required
- Must be able to obtain the proper documentation to work in schools
Nice To Haves
- ServSafe® certification
- K-12 cooking experience
Responsibilities
- Prepare hot and cold meals
- Follow menus and recipes according to the NSLP guidelines
- Adhere to all safety and food handling procedures
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Stocking
- Serving
- Cash register operation
- Cleaning
