Driver, Equipment Delivery w-CDL
About The Position
Carolina CAT is seeking an experienced Equipment Delivery Driver to transport company products to and from company and customer locations. The role requires an active CDL-A, a clean driving record, knowledge of equipment, and strong customer service and communication skills. The driver is expected to take a customer-first approach and establish and maintain working relationships with customers and internal employees. The position includes hauling equipment to customers and other Carolina CAT store locations, representing the company professionally, and safely operating vehicles and securing equipment. Duties may include overtime hours and periodic weekend deliveries. This role has no supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Pass a NCDOT physical.
- Active CDL Class A.
- Clean driving record.
- Knowledge of equipment, including construction, material handling, attachments, and generators.
- Good communication skills.
- Customer-first attitude and willingness to help.
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with customers and internal employees.
- Experience using computers on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- Haul equipment to and from customers and other Carolina CAT store locations.
- Interact with customers and represent the company professionally, providing top-of-the-line customer service.
- Operate vehicles and tie down equipment according to high safety standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
