About The Position

GlacierPoint Enterprises is a leader in the ice cream distribution industry, delivering not only ice cream, but frozen food, beverages, and other products to a host of customers. We are a Direct Store Delivery (DSD) organization delivering product from our supplier/distributor directly to a retail store, thereby bypassing a retailer’s distribution center. Our products are fast-turning, high velocity, and high consumer demand merchandise. We offer the best-in-class product offering, including the leading national and regional brands. We operate in approximately 15 locations covering New York, Long Island, The Bronx, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and are growing rapidly and expanding our footprint.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Class A or B are welcome to apply
• 1 – 2 years’ experience in Route Delivery; Direct Store Delivery preferred
• Meet the standard requirements of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Federal Highway Administration
• You must have a safe driving record and a Clean MVR
• Ability to pass a Physical Capacity Test, Drug Screen and Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Utilize necessary safety equipment, required by the company, for your safety and the safety of others.
• Practice proper lifting techniques while repetitively picking up product and stocking shelves. You may be required to lift safely 20-50 pounds on a frequent basis.
• Maintain good customer relations on a daily one-to-one basis.
• Work an average of 10 – 12 hours per day, with the potential of overtime.
• Count, pick, stock product.
• Collect and count monies and turn in the daily paperwork and balance monies daily.
• Verify PODs from each delivery.
• Delivery of product includes stocking, rotating, and placing products to shelf tag where applicable.
