About The Position
This role is responsible for assisting in the planning, preparation, and placement of approved orders, making timely adjustments with suppliers. The position involves tracking and expediting orders, adjusting book inventories, and reviewing daily quantities. Key duties include reporting daily inventory levels, generating monthly sales and inventory reports, and inputting required information into the computer. The role also coordinates trucking and rail transportation of product orders to minimize costs and ensure timely receipt. Additionally, the Driver Check-In will support the Inventory Manager in purchasing and communicating with beverage product suppliers, including planning, preparing, and placing purchase orders approved by the Vice President of Operations. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/General Education Diploma
- 0 to 2 years of related experience
