About The Position

Ferrousouth is hiring experienced CDL Class A drivers for sleeper truck routes hauling steel products. The position starts at $23 per hour during training and increases to $25 per hour after training. Overtime starts after 40 hours. Drivers must be able to handle the physical aspects of load securement and maintain a good motor vehicle record.

Requirements

• Class A CDL with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
• Clean driving record (MVR); a good MVR is required.
• Ability to handle the physical aspects of load securement.
• Ability to climb stairs or ladders, balance, communicate and hear, and see to detect, inspect, and assess.

Responsibilities

• Haul steel products.
• Bend, lift, strap and secure loads, reach, grab, and stand.
