About The Position

All Metals is seeking experienced CDL drivers to haul steel products in Cartersville, Georgia. Drivers operate day cabs and are home every night. Openings are on first shift, though start times may vary. Pay starts at $23 per hour during training and increases to $25 per hour after training. Overtime starts after 40 hours.

The work involves physically securing loads and may require bending, lifting, reaching, grabbing, standing, and climbing or balancing. The role also requires communication and visual abilities for observing and assessing work and surroundings.

Requirements

• Class A CDL.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience.
• Clean driving record (MVR).
• Ability to handle the physical aspects of load securement.
• Ability to climb stairs or ladders, balance, and communicate and see as required for the job.
• Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds constantly.

Responsibilities

• Haul steel products.
• Strap and secure loads.
• Bend, lift, reach, grab, and stand as required for the work.
• Operate a day cab and return home nightly.
