Associate, Driver - Weekend Shift
About The Position
A Driver Associate at VF plays a crucial role in delivering iconic VF Corporation brands to customers. This role involves assisting with stocking and retrieving merchandise stored on various levels using high-lift materials handling equipment. The associate will operate a cherry picker forklift with a work platform to reach heights of over 40 feet for stocking, retrieving, and performing cycle counts in VNA. The position requires working independently to meet individual production goals safely and accurately, operating powered industrial trucks to move materials, and adhering to all company safety procedures. The role also involves lifting, pushing, or pulling boxes weighing 35-40 lbs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent education
- Basic level of education will be required; reading, writing, and basic numeracy, problem solving, and accountability.
- PRIOR CHERRY PICKER/ORDER SELECTOR EXPERIENCE
Responsibilities
- Assist with stocking and retrieving merchandise stored on various levels using high lift materials handling equipment to lift, carry, move, and position a palletized merchandise.
- Use a cherry picker forklift with a work platform to elevate workers 40+ ft high to stock or retrieve merchandise.
- Perform cycle counts in VNA.
- Work independently to reach individual production goals safely and accurately.
- Operate powered industrial trucks equipped to move materials around a warehouse, storage yard, or similar location.
- Adhere to and follow all company safety procedures.
- Lift, push or pull boxes of 35-40lbs.
