About The Position

TJ Maxx Distribution Center, San Antonio General Warehouse Associate - Weekend Shift Forklift Driver (Friday- Sunday 5:00AM - 5:30PM) Pay for this position is $22.00. Additional pay may be earned based on your production level. The Bulk/Forklift Department supports the DC by using power industrial trucks (PIT) to move merchandise to and from various departments throughout the. Minimum of 3 year of forklift experience and eye exam is required. Bulk/Forklift drivers will be certified on both RC and TSP. All PIT training is done on site by a certified trainer. Although all General Warehouse Associates are assigned to a specific department and supervisor, they may work in another area if needed.

Responsibilities

• Count, select and sort objects such as totes, boxes, merchandise, or other items as assigned.
• Match receipts against purchase orders.
• Ticket merchandise or other items with gum labels, ticketing gun, or pin tickets.
• Pack or unpack merchandise.
• Seal boxes for shipping when packing is completed.
• Manual material handling of objects such as totes, boxes, garments or other items up to 10 lbs. constantly, up to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 60 lbs. occasionally.
