About The Position

This is a full-time, hourly position with overtime opportunities. The role involves loading, delivering, and installing equipment at customer sites for emergency or scheduled events, which may include long drives or overnight stays. The technician will serve as the face of Axis on the frontlines, providing professional and respectful service, solving on-site challenges, and tracking activity and progress through company-provided technology. Maintaining clean equipment, organized vehicles, and adhering to professional uniform standards are also key aspects of the role.

Requirements

1 + years of commercial driving experience preferred; experience in box-trucks, and sprinter vans is a plus.
A 5-year clean driving record is required.
The ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card.
You’ll work indoors and outdoors, often in extreme heat or cold, handling physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, or pulling 25+ lbs., and must be comfortable working on ladders.
Strong communication skills to be an effective communicator with strong problem-solving abilities and a professional demeanor.
Comfortable with mobile devices, tablets, and laptops; able to navigate apps, complete digital records, and communicate with customers.
1+ year of HVAC technician experience preferred
Strong desire to deepen your expertise in HVAC diagnostics, service, and responsibilities, taking on more complex challenges with each year of employment.
Availability for rotating on-call shifts — including emergency client requests on nights, weekends, and holidays — will be required.
Be ready for emergencies like wildfires, hurricanes, heat waves, and winter storms.
Responsible for transporting equipment to customer sites — whether it’s a quick local drop-off or a multi-hour trip.
When not on the road, you’ll be unboxing, testing, preparing, and cleaning equipment so it and your team can always be ready for the next job.

Nice To Haves
