About The Position
The Driller/Roof Bolter will be responsible for performing drilling and roof bolting operations within a limestone mine. This is a direct hire, on-site, union position located in the Torrance, PA area. The role requires adherence to strict safety standards and the ability to work effectively in an underground mining environment.
Requirements
- Ability to operate and maintain roof bolting equipment.
- Ability to follow safety standards.
- Willing and able to work in an underground limestone mine with heights of 27 ft and year-round temperatures of 50-60 degrees.
- Experience operating scaling/bolting equipment safely and efficiently.
- Experience evaluating roof and rib conditions.
- Available to work Saturdays and Overtime.
