Join NOV in Casper, WY, as a Drill Bit Repair Technician supporting our ReedHycalog business unit. Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of power tools, grinders, and shop equipment
  • Flexibility to work shifts as assigned (may include evenings/weekends)

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in mechanical repair, mechanical assembly, or equipment repair

Responsibilities

  • Support the repair and maintenance of drill bits used in energy operations.
  • Assist with production processes and equipment servicing.
  • Follow safety and quality standards at all times.
  • Use off-hand die grinders, blast equipment, and pressure washers to clean and prep parts.
  • Assist senior technicians with repairs and servicing procedures.
  • Operate OD or centerless grinders to finish surfaces.
  • Apply paint and inspect nozzle fit and alignment.
  • Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate service records.
  • Follow all safety protocols and work instructions.
