About The Position
This position will assist current employees with daily duties in the Field Operations Department.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Safety Science, or Occupational Safety
- Must have verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must have organizational management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and usually under short deadlines
Responsibilities
- Assist the Planning, Engineering, and Construction Section with various reporting and tracking methods designed to support departmental programs
- Assist with Project design
- Assist in reviewing and provide input regarding current recommended procedures and Distribution Standards
- Assist in research and development of instruction manuals outlining directives and equipment usage for projects
- Assist in documenting current Safety Procedures
- Assist in reviewing accident/claim reports
- Assist Superintendent of Training/Safety with special projects and assignments
