Requirements

Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace or Materials Engineering from an ABET accredited university
Self-starter with strong leadership, communication skills and demonstrated problem-solving ability
Proficient in MS-Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)

Nice To Haves

Experience in body exterior systems and wipers systems
Experience with Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R)
Knowledgeable in NX and TC release experience
Body systems in-plant launch experience
Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) green / black-belt
Shainin/ Kepner-Tregoe reactive problem solving
Experience with Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA)

Responsibilities

Responsible for the engineering, design, development, timing and validation of wipers and washing systems components (e.g. wiper modules, washer bottles, hoses and nozzles).
Analyzing the design to ensure it meets requirements.
Working with the extended vehicle team for production implementation and competitive benchmarking.
Executing component standardization and reuse, DVP, best practices and lessons learned.
Maintaining functional objectives, DFMEA's, DVPR's and standards.
Supporting meetings throughout NA work hours.
Working closely with local engineering teams, Architecture/Vehicle Concepts, program science teams & PDO with iterative models to align with all packaging, functional objectives and system requirements.
