Requirements

  • Must be Draw certified
  • Proficiency with MS Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to follow checklist
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities while working in an irregular work environment with changing priorities and multiple tasks.
  • Must have the ability to function independently with minimal supervision and with strong attention to detail and follow up/completion of assigned action items.
  • Must maintain certification and function as Fibermaking MT on shift.
  • Strong teamwork and leadership skills.
  • 12hr rotating shift schedule, overtime required as needed.
  • Must be certified as a Draw PA
  • Must not be on a level 2 discipline

Responsibilities

  • Performing Weekly Galileo, OTD, Flaw detector and lasermike certifications/calibrations.
  • Change FTD belt, cleaning FTD cutter, and ensure ppu misters and cutters are working.
  • Perform reboots on equipment.
  • Perform other Level 1 troubleshooting tasks as documented in training.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks on the Draw tower.
  • Act as communications hub for the team, relaying troubleshooting needs to the Tech Team.
  • Identify chronic issues with equipment and escalate to Tech Team.
  • Continue functioning as a Fibermaking MT.
