About The Position
Albemarle County Public Schools (ACPS) is seeking a Drama Teacher for Burley Middle School for the 2026-27 school year. This is a part-time position (50%, 3.63 hrs/day). ACPS is committed to creating a learning environment where students are engaged in authentic, challenging, and relevant learning experiences, preparing them to be lifelong contributors and leaders in a dynamic and diverse society. Requirements
- Eligible Endorsements: Theatre Arts Pre-K-12, Middle Education 6-8 (with concentrations in English/language arts or related arts fields), or English endorsement.
- Innovative, self-reflective, collaborative, knowledgeable in their content area and instructional practices, and are continually growing and improving.
- Passionate about closing equity and achievement gaps.
- Prepared to engage with our Culturally Responsive Teaching model in support of our Equity Mission Statement.
