About The Position
Expanding Midwest firm is looking to fill a critical role for a Drainage Engineer in their Naperville Office! This role involves working on a variety of public and private sector projects, leading drainage design on transportation projects, and collaborating with staff and clients. The successful candidate will prepare technical reports, plans, designs, cost estimates, and calculations, utilizing their background in transportation drainage design, detailed hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, stormwater management, and permitting.
Requirements
- B.S. in Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of experience
- PE License or ability to obtain
- Proficient in drainage design software (HEC-RAS, HY-8 and SWMM)
- Experience using MicroStation, GEOPAK/OpenRoads and Civil 3D
- Familiar with IDOT and Illinois Tollway
Nice To Haves
- Site development experience preferred
