About The Position

Fabtek Industries manufactures custom metal hatches, doors, and windows for the marine industry. Our products are installed on a wide variety of ferries, workboats, and yachts throughout North America. We are currently seeking an experienced SolidWorks Draftsperson to join our team in Arlington, Washington. This is a full-time opportunity to work on unique, custom-engineered products in a growing manufacturing company that values quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. Fabtek maintains an early work schedule of Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, allowing employees to enjoy open afternoons and avoid peak commuting hours. We are conveniently located near the Arlington Airport.

Requirements

Minimum 4 years of SolidWorks drafting experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work
Self-motivated, disciplined, and highly organized
Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality
Professional demeanor and positive attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work overtime when required
Basic math skills and proficiency using a tape measure

Responsibilities

Produce detailed, accurate SolidWorks drawings and documentation in a timely manner
Maintain high standards of quality and drafting accuracy
Communicate effectively with engineering, production, purchasing, and management teams
Support a collaborative and positive workplace culture
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area
Accurately track labor hours, project progress, and material records
Assist with other drafting and production-related tasks as assigned
