About The Position

Work with project teams to prepare and finalize project deliverables and contract documents in accordance with the company standards, municipal/jurisdictional requirements, survey standards, and client requirements. Drafting Technician II prepares various drawings (plan, elevation, profile views, details, and notes) for survey projects. Processing redlined drawings from QC, PLS, and/or project teams to finalize deliverables. Various other duties as assigned. Work requires knowledge/use of techniques, working knowledge of procedures and terms of the industry. The ability to perform a self QC review on your completed assignments, to reduce errors. Able to incorporate surveyor’s/engineer’s markups. Able to interpret and incorporate client’s standards. Proficient with AutoCAD and Carlson (or equivalent). Productive with Adobe Acrobat, MS Office and Google Earth. Proficient with reference files and drawing to scale. Completes assignments from Drafting Manager or assigned lead with minimal guidance. Other duties as assigned.

• Technically competent with various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD).
• HS Diploma
