We are looking for an accomplished Drafting Associate to join our Corporate Secretarial team as part of our financial services business in Montreal. Requirements

  • University or college degree
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook are a must.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous minute drafting experience, or experience with corporate structures is preferable for this position but not a pre-requisite.
  • Knowledge of international corporate structures, investment funds, other offshore vehicles and Cayman Islands and Irish regulatory landscape are beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting detailed minutes of board meetings from hand written notes and/or meeting recordings. Minutes must be drafted to a meticulous standard and the candidate will be expected to ensure all matters arising from such meetings are appropriately captured.
  • Perform other administrative tasks.
  • Attend client board meetings, telephonically, in due course.
  • Work well within a local and global team environment and be committed to meeting team and client deliverables, which may occasionally require overtime and weekends.
