About The Position

WireCrafters, LLC, established in 1967, is a manufacturer of wire partitions, storage lockers, safety barriers, and other related material handling products. This is an onsite position, no remote work available. After 90 days you will be eligible for benefits.

Requirements

Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Ability to understand and design special products as needed.
Understand blueprint details and ability to translate details into functional production drawings and instructions.
Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, AutoCad, Microsoft Outlook/email.
Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others.
Ability to work under pressure.
Able to read standard tape measure.
Strong math skills.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
High School Diploma or GED
Min. 2 years’ drafting experience or Associate’s Degree in CADD

Responsibilities

Create production drawings and job specifications necessary to fabricate and produce high quality woven wire products.
Accurately interpret drawings and sketches provided by the customer and Sales.
Create formal production drawings using our General Drafting Standards.
Audit and review drawings and installation instructions provided to customers.
Communicate timely feedback to the Engineering Manager regarding system and procedure failures as well as quality concerns.
