About The Position

As we continue to grow, we are looking to expand our talented design team with individuals who are detail-oriented, motivated, and eager to learn. We are seeking a full-time AutoCAD Drafter & Designer to join our team in North Salt Lake, UT. In this role, you will create detailed 2D architectural drawings of Lightning Protection Systems. While no prior electrical experience is required, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD. Training will be provided on all specialized systems and standards.
Requirements
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required
- All applicants must pass a basic drafting proficiency test
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Nice To Haves
- Revit experience is a plus, but not required
- 1–2 years of drafting or design experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Use AutoCAD to draft and design Lightning Protection Systems
- Create detailed and accurate 2D architectural drawings
- Work closely with project managers and engineering staff to support ongoing construction and infrastructure projects
- Review and revise drawings as needed based on project specifications
- Ensure all designs meet applicable standards and project requirements
