About The Position

Jabil is hiring multiple engineering interns in Salt Lake City, Utah, for its Summer 2027 Internship Program. Available areas include mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, and automation engineering. Interns will support their teams through assigned projects and tasks, assist with day-to-day operations and documentation, and help collect and analyze data to support decisions and process improvements. The program includes opportunities to engage with Jabil leadership, take part in professional development, networking, social and community events, serve on committees with other interns, receive mentorship, and tour Jabil facilities.

Requirements

• Pursuing an engineering-specific major or a related field.
• Senior graduating in May 2027 or August 2027, or a recent 2026 graduate.
• Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics.
• Strong computer skills, including general PC and Microsoft Office experience.
• Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, and draw logical conclusions.
• Ability to follow simple instructions and execute tasks with attention to detail.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret data, graphs, and basic metrics.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Complete projects and tasks assigned by the Functional Manager.
• Assist with day-to-day operations, processes, and documentation needs.
• Follow Environmental Health & Safety standards, work practices, and company policies.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Collect, organize, and analyze data to support decision-making and process improvements.
• Help identify issues, gather relevant information, and develop practical solutions.
• Support process documentation, work instructions, and operational procedures.
• Remain flexible in supporting deadlines and changing priorities.
