About The Position

Responsible for providing entry level design and drafting support to Design Services. Opportunity to learn basic 3D piping and plant design for career advancement is available.

Requirements

• Possess excellent computer skills utilizing MS Office and AutoCAD (v.2020 or newer) 2D drafting skills are required.
• Basic geometric, and trigonometric skills required.

Nice To Haves

• 3D ability preferred
• Technical/Vocational degree preferred
• 0-2 years of design experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned projects on-time and accurately; follow directions, scope and procedures provided by supervising team member and/or managers.
• Perform general arrangement, site layout, and civil/structural drafting assignments utilizing AutoCAD 2D and 3D drawing techniques.
• With training, read and interpret engineering drawings, drawing scales, and specifications.
• Follow established standards, format and procedures to create, update, revise and modify drawings.
• Utilize sketches, notes, and other input material to generate drawings.
• Identify and report changes and errors to supervising team member.
• Responsible for accuracy, attention to detail, and the quality of the work produced while following methods of continuous improvement.
